Hiring my mom.

Sometimes I step back and realize how strange and lucky I am to be in an industry where I get to pick and choose on a daily basis who my coworkers are for the day. If I need an assistant, a model, a secondary camera op... I just needle through my rolodex (for the youngin's, that's a contact list for old people) and find kind and talented people that I know.

How many other people can hire their mom and aunt for a last minute client shoot and then just end up hanging out their mom all day? I can. And I did. :P
