As someone who appears THREE times in Profusion's promo video, I feel like I am now the unofficial face of Profusion (Canada's largest photo and video expo).

It’s always a fun time shooting and mingling with creative powerhouses and seeing the artists of Hollywood hits behind the curtain.

This is Rahul Mehta. He is a long time friend of mine (over 20 years now!) and is running this October for Mississauga Councillor of Ward 8 where I live.

It's a common misconception that you need a lot of resolution and megapixels to print large images BUT the actual resolution required is actually more dependant on how far away the viewer is from the image.

Time moves so quick! I start teaching digital photography for the fall term at Sheridan Continuing and Professional Studies (CAPS) next week!

The last time I photographed her in action was for Bike Day this summer. Vicki helped organise this incredible event with Heart Comonos (for Cooksville Mississauga), giving away 130 upcycled bikes, free bike repairs, and all sorts of fun and games.

I'm currently sick right now so it's a great time to work on editing at home, like this assembly cut I am doing for Rezonance Baroque Ensemble's live performance.

Life experience is needed on every shoot I do. Don't just look to hire for pretty pictures, hire for the adaptability of the person holding the camera!

I'm super excited to be collaborating on this project with such a passionate and fun team! Lover’s Leap is an all-new 2SLGBTQIA+ dating show coming to Toronto!

I fly drones regularly for work but have never tried a 360 drone before where you can put on goggles and look around while flying with the birds!

I've been working a lot more lately with Rohit Mehta. He's a good friend that I've had since high school meaning we've known each other for something like 21-22 years. He's the one that actually introduced me to my wife!

As pool season kicks back into gear with Canada Day coming up, it reminds me of last fall when I was filming some pool construction.

My favourite gigs are the ones get to be myself and most people know I have a "youthful personality" (cough* immature cough*). Hopefully I get to do more with these wonderful young'ns.

The last time I filmed and worked at Wonderland was 10 years ago in 2016, so it was a nostalgic trip to come back and film here this summer.

I had heard about vocal cord nodules from the movie "Pitch Perfect" about singers getting it and then their careers being at risk - I didn't realise it was something a regular joe like me would develop. It made it particularly difficult because my job is directing people on camera and teaching in the classroom; both of these require a lot of use of my throat and I was losing my voice on an almost daily basis for a while.

This weekend I wanted to shoot a couple fun sci-fi portraits with UFOs and PORTALS to other dimensions.

I always enjoy it and going back at the end of the night to check the final results is like opening a fresh pack of pokemon cards and not knowing what you're going to pull!

Last week I took a couple of my friends and future summer students on a bike ride and drone flying lesson to learn how to take photos using a drone!

Do you know how hard it is to fight the urge to pet the dogs while photographing and filming a SuperDogs show? IT'S REALLY HARD OKAY-THEYARESOCUTEOMG.

This is a little montage of just a small fraction of the shenanigans we got up to while working with this fantastic crew of peeps.
