Concrete burns

As pool season kicks back into gear with Canada Day coming up, it reminds me of last fall when I was filming some pool construction. It was a fun experience to see the creation process because my-oh-my, I didn't realise how complex the engineering of pools really are!

Anyway, the point is, they had to spray concrete which got everywhere including on my camera and bags and face. Note to everyone out there that has never dealt with wet concrete--concrete has a high alkaline content which can cause burns on skin or staining and damage to equipment if not removed quickly. I learned this the hard way. But now I know.

And this is why I have no niche. I like to learn about everything. It's makes work fascinating and I grow a lot more in my craft shooting in all subjects and situations :)
