Sound recording, mixing, and mastering

I'm not known for audio, but sound recording, mixing, and mastering is actually one of my favourite things about digital content production. Audio is super overlooked compared to visuals but the truth is, higher level audio production makes a bigger difference in our subliminal feeling of production value and quality than better visuals. Don't cheap out on audio! It's part of digital content production!

I recently got to do some simple voiceover recordings for a pledge drive video I was working on and just playing around in EQ settings making the audio rich and meaty is so much fun.

Some people play video games, watch tv, or read books for fun... I play around with audio waveforms and find the frequencies of voice for fun.

Some people call me a weirdo. I ask them to repeat that and record them to play around with later in editing.
