Media Portfolio - Corporate Communications and Marketing.
Limit One Productions (Eric L. Chan) provides photography, videography, and graphic design to local businesses, organizations, and municipalities across the GTA.
Below is just a small sample of my work in recent years. We are currently a preferred vendor for the City of Vaughan and won the 2025 Platinum Award with the international MarCom Awards. More examples of my work is available throughout this website or upon request.
City of Vaughan - Not Your Average Senior - Marketing Campaign (2025)
A series of videos and photography was created for a summer 2025 campaign called “Ageless and Unstoppable” to showcase the abilities of local residents aged 65 to 90 and the recreational programming that they participate in. We pitched, scripted, and produced all of the media content for this current ongoing campaign that is bringing hundreds of new seniors to try the available programming in the City of Vaughan.
Surrey Place - Stock Photography (2025)
Many organizations require archival stock imagery that they can pull from for their website, communications materials, and for marketing. Surrey Place brings us in every summer to cover all their photographic needs for the entire year. This type of general photography requires us to see the bigger picture and try and think of every scenario and to reproduce the them for capture. Some need to feel more commercial while others are day-in-the-life candid.
University of Windsor - Departmental Recruitment Testimonials (2022)
A series of videos were created for the University of Windsor with current student testimonial interviews that each highlighted a different department. Each video was utilized in recruitment campaigns to help showcase what made the UWindsor educational experience unique as a post-secondary institution and boost enrollment.
Portraits and Corporate Photography (2025)
All corporate and municipal organizations require headshots as well as general BTS photography for better transparency between the organization and both customers and citizens. These images help to bring a face to the work being done and as well as connect locals to the organization.
Aerial Tour - Drone Licence (2024)
We are registered drone pilots with a licence to fly. This fall, we flew and recorded this aerial tour of the 60 acre campus of Appleby College that you can preview here.
The challenge of this flight was that they wanted to showcase multiple highlights of the campus at different angles but in order to show it at its best, I needed to track the sun throughout the day and find the best hours when the sun would be at its most cinematic.
Product Photography (2025)
Commercial, lifestyle, and studio product shots for marketing and advertising campaigns throughout the years saw over 200% increases in revenue for our clients! These are just a few examples.
Vertical Marketing and Social Media (2025)
Short form video recaps are becoming increasingly important in the current world of Reels and TikToks. They draw attention through sharable snapshots of the overall event and are especially valuable for those that missed the live coverage. Seeing the action unfold says more than any words could ever express. A couple samples include:
SBI Design requested a vertical video to be used in social media ads running on Instagram. We wanted to create something stylish to represent the type of work she does for her own clients and vertical video is the future of marketing so this was a good opportunity to practice the unique aspect ratio.
Boulderz Climbing recently held a competition and they wanted a video recap that would showcase their participants and the energetic community. This type of video was designed to drive sales for long-term memberships to join their vibrant group of rock climbers.
Hearts Comonos - Non-Profit and Community Building Photography (2025)
Hearts Comonos is just one of many non-profits that we work with to strengthen the community and build up the support infrastructure to see everyone thrive. This was a free event for Cookville-Mississauga residents to win 1 of over 200 bicycles donated from local programming or to get their own bikes repaired for free by certified mechanics! Many locals councillors attended to also lend an ear to their constituents.
City of Vaughan - 3D Infrastructure Rendering (2024)
In 2024, the City of Vaughan was gathering funding in order to support the development of an overpass to connect the city’s transportation infrastructure to the downtown core including a newly announced performing arts centre. As neither were actually built yet, we were tasked with realizing the vision through a combination of drone videography and 3D animations.
The municipality also required conceptual renderings of their proposed infrastructure development in order to approve funding from the Minister of Finance but also to present to their local community for feedback. We recorded drone footage of over 20 areas throughout the city and rendered the new look.
That project was designed to support the mayor’s presentation to secure 9-figures in funding from the Ministry of Finance.
Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) - Event Coverage Photography (2025)
With the impending release of Guillermo del Toro’s film “Frankenstein” in 2025, we were asked to cover the crew production party taking place at the TIFF Lightbox during the Toronto International Film Festival. It was important to capture key stakeholders and their interactions throughout the night while also telling the story and encapsulating the energy of the event.
Friday Night Lights - Sports Coverage Photography (2025)
A large field event taking place at night without outdoor lights was a challenge but necessary for many events and situations. This Friday Night Lights event showcased our skills even in challenging low-light and face-paced environments.
Surrey Place - Human Interest Mini-Documentary (2023)
In celebration of Pride Month, Surrey Place tasked us with producing a very run-and-gun documentary to highlight one of their clients and his day-to-day experience as gay man with FASD in Toronto. These types of human interest documentaries are incredibly important for nurturing the empathy required to advocate for the support of important initiatives and programs in the non-profit sector.
Appleby College - Arts Week Event Recap (2024)
Appleby College holds an annual Arts Week event that showcases the work of their student base in all forms of creativity from dance, to visual arts, to sculpting, to music and more. It culminates in an Arts Night Showcase concert. They wished to create a fast-paced, fun recap video that they could share on social media platforms so we recorded the whole week and encapsulated the energy into a short 1-minute video and also provided photography.
City of Vaughan - Community Event Photography (2025)
As an official vendor of record with the municipality of Vaughan, we cover many community events such as the Christmas Tree Lighting. These events are attended by the mayor, councillors, and residents with many performances, activities, and food to partake in!
Surrey Place - Vaccination Clinic Photography (2021)
During the height of COVID, residents with autism in the City of Toronto required more specialized care in receiving their vaccine shots. These images were utilized to spread awareness of the program and allow more special needs locals access to COVID vaccines.
Podcast Consultation (2020-2024)
We have been brought in as a technical consultant on four podcasts between 2020 and 2024. This means we give our recommendations on the space and the equipment for their budget and help them with setting up the workflow to record a podcast at the highest quality possible. The most recent is still in production with Surrey Place on neurodiversity and Owlware Limited on accessibility in the workplace.
Since those have not been released publicly yet, we will present a podcast we did consultation on in 2020 called Faking It which chronicles the lives of various guests in different life circumstances that requires speedy adaptation. A sample episode can be previewed here:
Basic Graphic Animations
Utilizing the Adobe Creative Cloud suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and more, I have created many lower thirds, logo reveals, title cards, infographics and other basic animations.
Limit One Productions - General Demo Reel
This is a general reel that showcases the breadth of our abilities to adapt to any situation. Whether it is corporate messaging, action-packed events, creative showcases, marketing and advertising, or anything inbetween.
