Mentors and Mentees collide!

Another story time.

13ish years ago - early in my teaching career, I worked as a tutor for my education/entrepreneurial mentor and now good friend Carla Ward.

Over the past decade, we both watched each other's careers grow and evolve. A few weeks ago, I got to experience something really special in the merging of my professional worlds; I was invited to photograph Carla's ECE Experience conference with my own students from Sheridan College.

I was mentored by Carla and now I mentor Duo and Ambreen and I got to watch everyone working together and sharing their growth in a venue overlooking the city I grew up in. Pretty cool experience for me!

Congrats to Carla for creating such a meaningful and valuable conference and thanks to Duo and Ambreen for tagging along with me for this gig and bringing the same "dancing" energy that I have!
